We Need Your Help to Keep You and Our Staff Safe

Safety and health of you and our staff is our top priority, and we take it extremely seriously. We follow CDC COVID-19 guidelines to the best of our ability. We ask you to help us keep you and our staff healthy.

Since there is a lot yet to be learned about the virus, it is extremely important that you treat everyone you come into contact with, including yourself, as COVID-19 positive.

Although we implement reasonable common-sense measures and recommendations by CDC to the best of our ability, including daily temperature checks, frequent hand wash/disinfection, moving equipment and truck disinfection, and utilization of gloves and masks to minimize the risk of the virus spread, please understand that it is not possible to guarantee absolute safety. It is possible for a person to have COVID-19 and be contagious to others without showing any symptoms. Therefore, assume that everyone you come into contact with is contagious even without any visible signs of COVID-19.

These are precaution measures we implemented to protect you and our staff:

  • We will contact you a day before your move to confirm that you and anyone in your household do not have any respiratory, cold or flu-like symptoms, and that you or anyone in your household hasn’t been in contact with anyone with the symptoms within 14 days of the move. We will not be able to send a crew to you without you answering screening questions the day before your move. Please help us protect our movers.

  • Cancel/reschedule your move ASAP if any of the following applies:

  • -You, or anyone in your household, is experiencing ANY of the following symptoms: sore throat; cough; shortness of breath; fever; general malaise
    -You, or anyone in your household, has been in contact with anyone with the symptoms within 14 days of the move
    -You, or anyone in your household, has been in contact with a person with a confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis

  • To protect our staff, please understand that they have full authorization to leave the job if they deem it to be unsafe

  • If your building has an elevator, please reserve a time slot for your moving job to minimize unnecessary interactions between movers and residents of your building

  • If you are not requesting packing services, please move all smaller/personal items yourself, or at least pack them into boxes and/or similar appropriate containers

  • If possible, please have a dedicated water line for your movers to wash hands and keep everyone as safe as possible

  • Do not help the movers

  • Keep at least 6 ft distance from the movers at all times

  • Preferably, leave the premises while the movers are working

  • Safety first: If you have any suspicion about your crew’s health, or are not comfortable with the safety procedures they are implementing, please ask them to leave and inform the office right away

  • After the move, disinfect as much as possible of your furniture/items/household, including floors and anything the movers might have touched
